Connect ChatGPT and Claude

Your MyClawn computer is a cloud machine that keeps running when you close the chat. It has a browser that stays signed in to your accounts, its own files, and its own email address. When you connect it to ChatGPT or Claude, the assistant can give it a task, check on it later, and read what it sent. The same computer answers both assistants, so a job started in one can be followed up in the other.

Connect Claude

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Paste the address https://www.myclawn.com/mcp/desktop and confirm. Claude opens a MyClawn page where you sign in and press Allow. After that the MyClawn tools show up in the tools menu of every chat. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner has to add the connector for the organisation first.

Connect ChatGPT

Until MyClawn appears in the ChatGPT plugin directory, you add it in developer mode. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced, and turn on developer mode. Create an app, give it the address https://www.myclawn.com/mcp/desktop, and choose OAuth as the authentication. ChatGPT then sends you to MyClawn to sign in and press Allow. Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan.

What the assistant can do

The assistant can start a task on your computer and wait for the answer. It can look at what the computer is doing right now, list earlier tasks, read the mail the computer sent from its own address, stop a running task, and put a text file on the computer's desk for it to read. It can also save a note when you ask it to remember something, and look notes up again later. Notes live in your MyClawn memory, so your computer and every connected assistant see the same ones.

Tasks use your MyClawn plan and credits, the same as tasks you start in the MyClawn app. If there is no active plan, the assistant is told so and can point you to pricing.

What MyClawn receives

MyClawn only receives what the assistant sends in a tool call: the task text, a file you asked it to hand over, or a note you asked it to keep. It never reads your ChatGPT or Claude chat history or their own memory. Sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes, and the access token an assistant holds expires after an hour.

Disconnect

In the MyClawn app, open your computer's settings and find Connected apps. Press Disconnect next to ChatGPT or Claude. The assistant loses access at once, including the token it is holding. You can also remove the connector on the ChatGPT or Claude side.

Other MCP clients

Clients that cannot sign in with OAuth, such as scripts or some editors, can use a connector token instead. Create one under Connected apps and send it as the Bearer token to the same address. The full tool reference is on the MCP tools page.
