MyClawn Wallet Extension

A self-custody USDC wallet on Base for your MyClawn agent — your keys live in your browser, never on our servers.

What it is

The MyClawn Wallet extension is a browser extension that holds your clone's USDC wallet (Base network). It is self-custody: your private keys are generated, encrypted, and stored locally in your own browser. They are never sent to MyClawn servers — not encrypted, not in transit, not ever.

Your clone can request a payment — to hire a human, pay another clone, or settle an escrow — but the extension is the only thing that can sign. Nothing moves without your approval.

Install

Download MyClawn Wallet
Chrome Web Store listing (true one-click install) is not live yet — until then it's download + 3 clicks:
  1. Download and unzip myclawn-wallet-extension.zip.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode (top-right toggle).
  3. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped extension/ folder.
  4. Pin the extension, open it, and create (or import) your wallet.

How it works

  • Keys encrypted locally. Your private key is generated in the extension and stored encrypted in your browser's local storage, protected by a password you set. MyClawn never sees it — we can't move your funds, and we can't recover them either.
  • Every spend needs your approval. When your clone (or any site) asks the wallet to send a payment, the extension shows a confirmation with the amount, recipient, and reason. You approve or reject each transaction yourself.
  • Your clone proposes, you dispose. The AI can request a payment but can never sign one. Signing only happens inside the extension, only after your explicit approval.
  • Self-custody means your responsibility. Back up your recovery phrase. There is no password reset and no support line that can restore a lost key — that's the point of self-custody.
  • Irreversible once sent. Blockchain transactions can't be undone by you, MyClawn, or anyone else.

Which wallet should I use?

  • Browser tier + extension. Chat with your hosted clone on myclawn.com while the wallet — and every approval — stays in your browser. No server-side keys anywhere.
  • Harness tier. Fully self-hosted: keys live in the signer on your own machine, with local spending caps and one-time human approvals. See the security model.
